[…] This is an awesomely cool gift idea for the person who seems to have everything….except a bidet! Makes a great family gift too! ($600-$700) You can read about our Omigo experience here. […]

Kids love to touch everything. I mean, everything!!! They just can’t help it. They’re naturally curious and want to learn about the world around them. Along with this tactile curiosity comes lots and lots of germs.
Although not all germs are bad, we like to practice healthy habits like hand washing and butt spraying. Urrrk! Say what? Yes, butt spraying. Okay, okay, it’s technically called a bidet. But, you get the idea.
If you think about it, the toilet is one of those things that hasn’t changed much through the years. The process has pretty much been the same since forever- you go, you wipe, then you flush. (And of course you wash your hands.) That’s how it’s always been for me anyway….until now.
Meet Omigo. Omigo is an awesomely cool new way to change your bathroom experience- for the better. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been curious about using a bidet. The U.S. is kind of behind when it comes to this technology. I don’t know any one of my friends or family who have one.
The first time I used it, I laughed the whole way through. It’s such a new and weird feeling. It tickled me!
What’s cool about Omigo is that it offers all of the same upgrades as the high-end toilets without the high-end price. It has all of these features:
- Heated toilet seat with temperature control
- Heated water with temperature control
- Heated air with temperature control
- Rear wash and front wash
- Customizable spray nozzle position
- Water pressure control
- Spray width control
- 2 programmable user settings
- We programmed User #1 for myself and my husband; and User #2 for the kids.
- Deodorizer that removes the stench by pulling the air through a charcoal filter.
- Sterilize function that cleans the nozzles with a push of a button
- Wireless remote
- Soft close lid
I can’t think of anything else I’d want in a toilet.
I was a little reluctant about having a bidet because kids. I could just see my son grabbing the remote, turning on the water and leaving a big wet mess! But fear not, Omigo took care of this too! There’s a built in sensor on the seat so the water can’t be activated unless someone’s on the throne. So smart!
We’ve been using Omigo for a few weeks now and we love it! My husband actually said he no longer feels clean using just toilet paper. It’s not so weird to us anymore. It’s become part of our daily hygiene. Our kids are 5 & 6 years old and can operate the remote all on their own. It gives me piece of mind knowing that their little hands have stayed clean while doing #2.
This is great!!! Bidets are awesome….I agree, it never quite feels clean with just toilet paper. Haha!
Americans are behind when it comes to this technology. See what I did there? 🤣
Wow! This is such an odd review but oddly I am intrigued! I love this!
LOL! So weird but cool at the same time!
First time I used a bidet was in Japan. Once we buy a house we’ll definitely be getting one!
That’d be awesome!
I do love bidets. I wish we had more of them in the U.S.
They’re pretty cool to have!
In the Philippines we use tabo which is called water dipper by foreigners but now most homes have bidets. 🙂
If I install the Omigo, I might be popular.
Omg. I’ve been saying a tabo is a bucket all this time! 🤷🏽♀️ You’re right though, Filipinos do like to wash themselves after. 😅
Really good review 😀 Never tried bidet 😀
You know what they say…once you go bidet…😆🤣🤣
I have 2 kids, a 5 and a 1 year old, I definitely need this!
It’s so useful. Anything to make our mom life easier, right?
Wow too fancy for me lol. But I actually hate bidets. I hate that wet feeling and then trying to get dry before pulling my pants back up lol
This one has a warm air dryer just for that reason. Lol.
Bidets are enviroinment friendly…only if I can convince my husband to install one
Yes, that’s an excellent point! It takes a lot of water to produce toilet paper not to mention the trees.👍🏽 It was surprisingly quick to install. Under 30 minutes.
The title is kind of hilarious. This product is really cool. I rwallr did not see this coming.
I’m glad I surprised you. LOL!
An awesome post. Bidets are quite essential for me, now that I am back in my home country, I miss the presence of bidets in most of the restrooms/comfort rooms.
