Do you keep a mental countdown when on vacation? ⏳⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I used to. BIG TIME! As soon as I'd get to my destination, I'd start counting the days I had left until "real life" had to resume again.😫⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I didn't know it at the time but keeping track of the days took away from being able to live in the present moment because I was already thinking about the next day. It’s taken me a while to understand this concept. It wasn’t until I stumbled across some YouTube videos of @drjoedispenza that I realized this habit of mine.💡⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The irony is that vacations seem longer now that I've stopped being constantly aware of time. 🙌🏽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
