We experienced our first family staycation over the weekend and let me tell you, it was marvelous! It gave us all the vacation vibes without having to leave our hometown. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There are several benefits to planning a staycation. Here's a short list of reasons:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've been brainstorming ideas for vacationing in California. Thanks to all who sent me suggestions! I'm making a list and I'll share later tonight. I know many of us have had to cancel our family vacations and are now considering just staying in California. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Luckily, for us Californians, we have plenty of options to explore!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This photo was taken in Palm Springs. If you're looking to stay mainly at your designated hotel/resort, I'd recommend this area of southern California. We stayed at The Westin Desert Willow Villas and had a fantastic week there. It's family friendly, has several pools and had everything we needed. Surprisingly, it is also budget friendly!🙌🏾⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We took a day excursion with Hummer Adventure Tours and had a private educational experience with just our family of four. This is a wonderful way to get a personalized tour away from the crowds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
