This year has inspired us all to be a little bit more creative when it comes to vacationing. In fact, we had to cancel our Hawaii vacation this year. *insert crying emoji*
It wasn’t easy to hit the cancel button, especially since we had been planning that trip for over a year. But, we are very fortunate to live in California where there are plenty of desirable destinations to choose from. This month we are going to feature my hometown of Sacramento.
When it comes to getting that vacation feel, The Sawyer makes the top of the list- hands down. The Sawyer is located in downtown Sacramento and is adjacent to the Golden 1 Center.
Rooms are clean and spacious. The bath amenities are by Atelier Bloem and come in full sized bottles. I love that I didn’t have to pack any of our own bath products. It made packing a little bit easier.
The pool deck is where it’s at. We spent most of our time here and the kids absolutely enjoyed it. The pool, which is located on the 3rd floor, overlooks the Downtown Commons area and is the perfect spot to people watch. Food and beverages are also available making it easy to spend all day poolside.
