Oh, 2020…what can I say? You’ve been a blast.
Anyone else think we’d be out of this mess by October? Same, girl. Same.
No worries though! Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park at Tower Park has got you covered!

For each weekend in October, they’re having Halloween celebrations for the entire family to enjoy. Activities include costume contests, site decorating, arts and crafts and a Haunted Halloween Trail!
We were lucky enough to be invited this past weekend, so let me tell you all about it!
Tower Park is located in Lodi along the California Delta. It’s a quick hop, skip and a jump from Sacramento. It took us approximately 30 minutes to get there.
There are 3 ways to stay so there’s definitely something for everybody here. You can tent camp, RV camp or stay in a cabin. Campsites come with water & electric hook-ups, a picnic table and fire ring. There’s an array of amenities so be sure to check them all out here.
There are 5 types of cabins to choose from that can accommodate groups of 4 to 8 people. To see the full list of cabin amenities, click here. The property is also pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry family members along.
We stayed in the Delta Deluxe Cabin, #301. It had plenty of room for everyone and included a full kitchen, bathroom, and upstairs loft. Outside is a picnic table, fire pit and grill. Check out our cabin tour below!
There’s so much to do at Tower Park. There’s gem mining, miniature golf, pools, a lazy river….your kids will never say “I’m bored” while you’re here.
Golf cart rentals are available and make it so much easier to navigate around the park. It was fun zipping around in the golf cart. It made everything easily accessible. I don’t know who enjoyed riding around in the cart more- me or the kids.
And since you’re on the Delta, there’s a full-service marina at Tower Park. So bring your boat or rent one! There are also stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and pontoons available. For a full list of things to do, click here.
It was such a treat to see all the decorated sites. Here were some of our faves.

The Haunted Halloween Trail was a spooky experience that put us all in the Halloween spirit. My kids love to get scared, so this was a perfect activity for them. There were also designated locations for the kids to “Candy Hunt” aka Trick or Treat. It was cute seeing all the children (and adults) walking around in costume.
Weekends in October are popular at Tower Park! Be sure to plan ahead and book your site early.
I am happy my kids were able to enjoy some Halloween festivities this year. Tower Park made it fun, memorable and safe. We can’t wait to go back! https://towerparkresort.com/
