It was 91° today. 🥵 Sacramento hasn't gotten the memo so I guess posting lazy river photos is acceptable? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I mean, who knew a lazy river was just a quick 30 minute drive away? It usually takes a trip to Vegas or Hawaii to find one of these bad boys! ✈

Only 9 more weeks until Christmas and I may be more excited than the kids this year! 😆🎄

When I first discovered Milo, I knew it'd be the perfect tool for my family. It'll allow us to keep tabs on the kids when we're out exploring while also giving them more independence. I used to think that Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory was a real place that existed in America. It was one of the reasons I was excited to move here from the Philippines at the age of 7. 🍫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We were fortunate to arrive in the US together as a family- my mom, dad and 2 sisters. It was December. I remember it being so cold and seeing my breath for the first time. 🌬⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm now at the age of my Dad when my parents decided to take on this big adventure. It wasn't until I became a parent myself that I was able to fully comprehend just how much courage it must've taken to do something like that. 🦁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Three hundred dollars. That's how much we came here with. My parents had faith that everything would work out and it did. They sacrificed, worked hard, and stayed in constant prayer. 🙏🏽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

@towerparkresort makes it easy to load everyone up with cabins big enough to sleep 8. If camping is preferred, they also have RV & tent sites available. 🏕

Each weekend in October is filled with Halloween festivities at the park. It was such a treat 😆 to see so many decorated sites and children dressed up in costume.👻

Even though our camper has a fridge, we still like to bring a cooler (or 2) to pack all the drinks and extra ice. Grizzly has an ice retention of 5-7 days. This is a must especially if you're dry camping!⛺⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
