When we planned our first big trip as a family, Lu

When we planned our first big trip as a family, Lukas was under a year old and Morgan was 2. It never occurred to us not to bring them. Plus, we don't really have that kind of help so leaving them at home just wasn't on our radar.

If you have a good support system & are able to get away with your spouse for that much needed connection, that's great!

But, if you don't, you can still go on vacation and experience a new adventure!

So, if you've been wanting to plan that trip but don't know how you'll manage with little ones, I'm here to tell you that you can do it AND that you'll be glad you did! 💞

Yesterday, I asked my son what his favorite part of the day was. I was expecting him to say something like, "when I was throwing rocks into the river" or "when I saw deer." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

His answer? "When you were sitting next to me on the (kitchen) counter while I was doing schoolwork." 😭 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
